Dr. Shirley Cheong 張慧敏牙醫
Dr. Shirley graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1988 with First Class Honours. In 1993, she received her certificate from the National Dental Examining Board of Canada and started her private practice in North York, Toronto. She co-founded Yonge & Steeles Dental Care in 2002 along with her husband, Dr. Kenny Chan, and it has established an excellent reputation as one of the top dental practices in Toronto.
Dr. Shirley’s practice revolves around the principle of Aesthetic Dentistry based on neuromuscular research and solving Cranio-Mandibular Disorder. She provides comprehensive ceramic full-mouth dentistry with procedures such as cosmetic smile makeovers, implant dentistry and full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Shirley is an expert in 3D CADCAM dentistry and lecturing internationally about applications of 3D digital technology.
Dr. Shirley is a fellow of both the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopaedics (ICCMO). Her passion for dentistry which has developed over 33 years has motivated her to go past the standard definition of a general dentist and become an oral physician, continually striving for innovation and excellence.
Together with her husband, Dr. Kenny Chan, their new dental building in Willowdale, Toronto is complete.
